Style
Looking at my body of work, I think its fair to say that I’m a landscape photographer, but there are others who would point to my more avant-garde images as more typical of my “style”.
Currently the majority of my work is monochrome, and I am taking a lot of images using an infra-red sensitive digital camera, as, perversely, I enjoy the limitations!
Did the Leica camera define Henri Cartier-Bresson’s style, or did he discover the right tool for his type of photography? I now have a Fuji X100 and I’m taking different pictures, more instantaneous, “decisive moment” type images, and in places where I’d not have thought (or wanted) to take a camera.
